Bird's/Worm's Eye and Rule of Thirds
The purpose of this assignment was to make the students think about different angles to add to the interest of the images. Students were supposed to also practice the use of rule of thirds. For this project Ember photographed things in her house that have become part of her everyday. Ember is particularly proud of the worm's eye ice icicle image. She is particularly proud of it because it follows the rule of thirds pretty well with the different lengths of ice. It is also really interesting to look at because of the stark contrast. Ember's favorite bird's eye photo is the one of the poem, this is because it does a good job of following the rule of thirds. She also likes it because it is a photo of a part of her life that she is very motivated about.
